Day 1:
Touchdown in Lusaka - Gateway to Adventure
Arrive in the Zambian capital of Lusaka and connect to a flight heading to Mfuwe Airport, located in South Luangwa National Park. Upon arrival, enjoy a 30-minute transfer by road to KuKaya Lodge, where you will stay for two nights.
Day 2:
Safari Bliss at KuKaya Lodge
Begin your day with an early morning breakfast before heading out on a morning game drive to explore the rich wildlife of South Luangwa. Return to the camp for a delicious brunch and relax until afternoon tea. Depart for an exciting afternoon and evening game drive.
Day 2:
Scenic Drive to Kapamba Bushcamp
Take a scenic three-hour drive through the park, which doubles as a game drive, as you transfer from KuKaya Lodge to Kapamba Bushcamp.
Days 4 & 5:
Into the Wild at South Luangwa
Enjoy your choice of activities, including early morning game drives or walks through the bush. In the afternoon, experience thrilling night drives to discover the nocturnal wonders of the park.
Day 6:
Walk to Bilimungwe Bushcamp
Take a guided walk from Kapamba Bushcamp to Bilimungwe Bushcamp, lasting approximately three hours. This is a unique opportunity to observe South Luangwa’s wildlife up close and from a different perspective.
Days 7 & 8:
Safari exploration
Spend your days enjoying early morning game drives or bush walks. In the late afternoon, enjoy evening or night drives for an entirely different wildlife experience.
Day 9:
Walk to Chindeni Bushcamp
Walk from Bilimungwe Bushcamp to Chindeni Bushcamp, a journey that takes around three hours. This immersive walk offers a distinct way to experience the beauty and wildlife of South Luangwa.
Days 10 & 11:
Life at Chindeni
Your days will include early morning drives or walks and thrilling afternoon or night drives.
Day 12:
Return to KuKaya Lodge
Take a road transfer back to KuKaya Lodge and enjoy an overnight stay, relaxing after your adventures in South Luangwa.
Day 13:
Journey to Livingstone
Transfer to the Mfuwe Airport for a flight to Livingstone via Lusaka. Upon arrival, check-in at Mukwa River Lodge for the next three nights.
Day 14 & 15:
Victoria Falls and Beyond
Experience the beauty of the Zambezi River with sunrise and sunset activities. Take a guided tour of the magnificent Victoria Falls and explore Livingstone Town, including its vibrant local markets and fascinating museums.
Day 16:
Depart Zambia
Depart from Livingstone for your next destination, either Cape Town or Lusaka.
